We begin this episode with a discussion and mini review of the PS4 games Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Mass Effect: Andromeda. Next, the conversation briefly moves to the NFL draft, which is taking place this weekend, and then on to a discussion about comic conventions (no ranting this time.). We discuss the future sequel to the movies Unbreakable and Split, and then move on to talk about Guardians of the Galaxy 2, as well as some other upcoming Marvel movies. We mention the upcoming Titans/Young Justice crossover, talk about the show Powerless getting cancelled, and the future of the Spider-Man movie franchise before welcoming our guests onto the show.

This week, we interview Tricia Rainone and Katie Uhlmann, the creators and writers of the webseries “My Roomate’s An Escort”. We begin with Tricia and Katie giving us a synopsis of the show, and then discuss the casting of the show, as well as the reasons behind making one character an escort, allegedly, as well as naming that character Kesha. The pair give us some behind the scenes stories from the show, talk about showing the webseries at various festivals, and give their thoughts on rejection. Next, they talk about putting the webseries together, what it is like to write for a webseries, and what it is like to pitch the show as a half hour comedy show to various networks. We ask Tricia and Katie about going through Indeigogo, their first time they met each other, other projects they are working on, and their comedy backgrounds

.

Katie also directs the webseries, which she has never done before, and we ask her about that. We finish off the interview with a discussion about the locations they have shot in, the reactions they have received about the webseries, and where they can be found on the internet.
